Great conversation, a great haircut, and a fair price — the same three things every review says. Red chairs, a certificate for the first haircut, and barbers worth booking ahead for. 105 Google reviews at 4.8 stars.

Scissor work, tapers and the cut you have been getting for years — done consistently. "A maestro with the scissors," says one review.

Skin, low and mid fades that come out "fresh every time" for the regulars who moved here from out of state and finally found their barber.

Patient with two-year-olds and curly hair, and every first haircut leaves with a certificate.

"I don't have much hair left but I'm very particular in how it's cut" — and he keeps coming back.

A 46-year-old and his college son go to the same chair and feel the same way about it. That is the kind of shop this is.
Andrew Amen gave my husband the best haircut I have ever seen on him. Anthony is a maestro with the scissors. Book ahead because he is busy.....

What a barbershop should be. Great conversation, great haircut and not over priced.

Bethany Barber Shop has 1896 on the sign and Andy in the reviews — "consistent, reliable and a pleasure to converse with", the barber a new arrival from another state was relieved to find. A.C. handled a two-year-old's first-ever haircut and sent her home with a certificate; Gregg cuts on Thursdays. It is the shop people mean when they say they used to go to a chain and "never again": red chairs, Husker flags, the game on, and a haircut that is not over priced.
