What a barbershop should be

Great conversation, a great haircut, and a fair price — the same three things every review says. Red chairs, a certificate for the first haircut, and barbers worth booking ahead for. 105 Google reviews at 4.8 stars.

About

Andy and the crew on 66th Street

Bethany Barber Shop has 1896 on the sign and Andy in the reviews — "consistent, reliable and a pleasure to converse with", the barber a new arrival from another state was relieved to find. A.C. handled a two-year-old's first-ever haircut and sent her home with a certificate; Gregg cuts on Thursdays. It is the shop people mean when they say they used to go to a chain and "never again": red chairs, Husker flags, the game on, and a haircut that is not over priced.

  • Barbering in Lincoln since 1896
  • Great conversation, great cut
